Electrical faults rarely announce themselves. Insulation degrades, connections loosen, harmonics build — and by the time a breaker trips, the cost is already in six figures. Our diagnostic surveys identify failure points at component level, graded by severity and urgency, so you act on what matters and defer what doesn't. Every test is performed to IEC standards with calibrated instrumentation traceable to national measurement benchmarks.

Insulation Resistance
HV, MV, and LV asset testing. Identifies degraded insulation before breakdown occurs. Reported to IEC 60243.
Partial Discharge Detection
Non-invasive PD testing on live switchgear and cables. No production interruption required for initial survey.
Power Factor & Tan-Delta
Transformer and cable condition assessment. Trending data plotted against previous results to track deterioration rate.
Cable Fault Location
TDR and surge techniques to pinpoint underground and buried faults to within 0.5 metres. Reduces excavation cost significantly.
Power Quality Analysis
Harmonic distortion, voltage unbalance, and transient capture. Identifies hidden causes of equipment failure and energy waste.
Earth Continuity & Loop Impedance
Full earth system verification to BS 7671. Mandatory for compliance on any site subject to periodic inspection.

If it is live, failing, or creating a safety risk — call us. We do not charge a premium for out-of-hours response on contracted sites. For non-contracted clients, emergency rates apply and are quoted before mobilisation. No surprises.

Heat is always the first sign of a fault. A loose connection, an overloaded circuit, a failing component — all of them run hot before they fail. Thermal imaging finds these signatures in live equipment without any interruption to production. Arc flash analysis then quantifies the energy hazard so your teams can work safely in proximity to high-energy equipment.
